Getting started
What is needed before a first send.
What do I need before my first campaign?
Short answer: You need an active account, an approved sender, a lawfully consented audience, a recipient list, compliant content, and enough balance or billing capacity.
Regulated programs may also require an approved age-gate domain and landing-page workflow. Send a test before launch.
Why is my account or campaign under review?
Short answer: Unverified or newly configured programs may be reviewed before sending. Review can cover business identity, registration, consent flow, sender setup, and content.
A review is not a delivery guarantee; carriers make independent filtering and delivery decisions.
How do I get help?
Short answer: Open Support in the platform or use the public Support page. Include the campaign, approximate time, example recipient, and visible status-but never a password or API key.
Can multiple team members use Blackleaf?
Short answer: Yes. Account administrators can manage users. Limit access to people who need it and give each person their own credentials.
Should I send a test before launching?
Short answer: Yes. A test helps confirm the rendered body, variables, image, link, sender, and handset experience. A successful test does not guarantee delivery to every recipient.
