Offers
The offer. The audience. The next visit.
See who each promotion is for, where it appears, and what needs your attention.
Start with stock you can actually sell.
A good promotion brings customers back for something the store can supply. The planned marketing workflow brings available stock, product demand, and margin into the offer, so the invitation matches what happens at the counter.
- Check sellable stock after reservations and holds, not just the catalog quantity.
- Match the offer to the products, dates, and locations that can honor it.
Campaign activity
See the campaign come together.
Follow the work behind a promotion, from stock and audience checks to your team’s handoff.
Give the right customers a reason to return.
A returning flower shopper and an occasional gummy customer should not receive the same invitation by default. The product direction uses shopping history and preferences to prepare a relevant audience, offer, message, and creative together. Your team supplies the voice; AI helps with the preparation.
- Use the audience’s interests and last visit to shape the invitation.
- Keep contact eligibility, exclusions, and messaging consent separate from purchase history.
- Prepare matching campaign artwork, counter materials, and staff talking points.
Carry the offer from the text to checkout.
The connected workflow is designed to keep the message, eligible products, and checkout discount consistent. Before outreach, the store reviews the offer and available supply. At the counter, the budtender can explain the same terms the customer saw in the message.
| Stage | What stays connected |
|---|---|
| Stock → offer | Eligible products, available quantity, margin, and promotion dates. |
| Audience → message | Customer relevance, contact permission, message, and creative. |
| Visit → purchase | The same offer terms, customer context, and checkout discount. |
| Purchase → next decision | Campaign activity, matched transactions, returns, and repeat visits. |
Know what the promotion contributed.
The reporting direction connects campaign activity with matched purchases and return visits. A delivered message is not a sale, and a sale after a text does not by itself prove the text caused it. Review the audience, time window, discount cost, and returns alongside the result.
- Agree the transaction-matching and attribution method before comparing campaigns.
- Compare similar periods or a suitable comparison audience when measuring lift.
- Use the result to improve the next offer and replenishment decision.
Keep your POS. Start with texting.
You do not have to switch POS systems to use Blackleaf’s existing dispensary messaging product. It can work alongside your current POS, subject to supported integrations and data access. The connected POS marketing workflow shown here is in development; live sending, publishing, and attribution are confirmed for each rollout.
Questions worth asking.
Clear answers for planning your store’s next step.
Will AI change prices, place orders, or contact customers without approval?
The intended model gives each store control over authority. Agents prepare the work against store-defined budgets, margins, audiences, and permissions. Purchases, price changes, outreach, and publishing require the appropriate approval before execution. Supported automation rules and approval controls must be confirmed for the deployment; a draft is not an executed action.
Can Blackleaf Dispensary POS create personalized dispensary deals and bundles?
Personalized deal creation is part of the AI roadmap. The planned workflow combines eligible customer history and preferences with available stock, margin rules, loyalty context, and offer performance to prepare a bundle or incentive, audience, message, and schedule for approval. Blackleaf’s existing messaging product is separate; customer data alone does not establish marketing consent.
Do I have to switch POS systems to use Blackleaf texting?
No. Blackleaf’s dispensary messaging platform is available separately and can work alongside an existing POS, subject to the integration and data access available for that system. Adopting Blackleaf Dispensary POS is a separate store-operations decision.
