More stores. One clear operating picture.
Evaluate multi-location dispensary POS across store-specific inventory, customer context, permissions, promotions, reporting, and Blackleaf portfolio pricing.
Development preview · Availability and deployment scope confirmed for your store.
Keep each store’s work in view.
A busy pickup counter at one location should not bury the next customer at another. The preview offers store selection and role-based workspaces. The production direction combines a wider operating view with the location context each team needs.
| Record | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Inventory | Sellable quantity, holds, and incoming stock belong to the right location. |
| Orders | Preparation, customer arrival, assigned staff, and tender stay attached to the visit. |
| Promotions | An offer needs eligible products, dates, stock, and applicable stores. |
| Staff access | Employees need the actions and locations their responsibilities require. |
Let the offer fit the store.
A product can be overstocked in one location and nearly sold out in another. The planned marketing and inventory connection lets those differences shape the next proposal. A brand-wide campaign still needs store-level supply and clear offer terms.
Recognize customers without losing control of their information.
Shared customer context can make another location feel familiar, but identity, rewards, and contact permissions need deliberate scope. Confirm which records are shared, how duplicate profiles are resolved, and which employees can access them. Location-specific audiences should still respect messaging eligibility.
Compare stores using the same definitions.
Review the same dates and definitions when comparing sales, returns, customers, or product movement. A portfolio total is useful only when a manager can understand the location-level records behind it. Production aggregation, shared-customer behavior, and cross-location permissions are confirmed per rollout.
- Keep a proposed stock action separate from a completed physical or regulated movement.
- Confirm report refresh timing, historical coverage, and export access.
- Use the Multi pricing tab for the published first-store and additional-location rates; equipment and deployment scope still apply per store.
Questions worth asking.
Clear answers for planning your store’s next step.
How does Blackleaf approach multi-location dispensary management?
The preview includes store selection and dedicated workspaces. The production direction combines location-specific stock, orders, offers, and employee authority with shared operating visibility. Live aggregation, customer sharing, cross-location permissions, historical coverage, and exports must be confirmed in the rollout scope.
Does a combined inventory view make stock available at every store?
No. Sellable stock, reservations, holds, and incoming supply need the correct location context. A proposed stock movement is not a completed transfer. Each store should confirm availability before accepting an order or promoting an item, and physical or regulated movements follow the applicable workflow.

Can our technical team connect other software?
Documented POS interfaces, customer-authorized integrations, and data exports are core roadmap requirements. Review the actual available operations, permissions, event delivery, limits, and fees with Blackleaf before committing to an integration. The existing public Blackleaf messaging API should not be assumed to expose the developing POS functions.
