Make the amount and payment choice clear.

Keep the basket, discounts, total, and available tender choices in one conversation. The customer-facing display can help the shopper follow along. Production tender support and fees depend on the payment provider and confirmed deployment.

  • Explain the actual charge, any fee, and applicable cash back before the shopper agrees.
  • Confirm refunds, reversals, declines, interrupted payments, and retries.
  • Demo cashless ATM, ACH, or other payment controls do not establish a live processing connection.

Give every cash handoff a record.

The intended cash workflow keeps the count, retained float, safe drop, and verification together. Managers can trace who counted and what changed without deciphering a different note from each shift.

Close with figures accounting can follow.

Cash counts, electronic settlement, tips, and sales are related records with different meanings. Agree how each reconciles, who reviews differences, and what can be exported. Pooled-tip calculations require verified hours, the store’s allocation policy, and correction handling.

  • Confirm supported cash-counter models and workforce data connections.
  • Document support coverage and the recovery procedure for interrupted payments.
  • Payment-provider fees and third-party charges are separate from the POS subscription.

Questions worth asking.

Clear answers for planning your store’s next step.

What equipment is included in the Complete package?

The planned standard Complete package supports two registers, one check-in, two managers, and one customer-facing display. It includes four Windows Surface tablets; five Zebra DS9208 scanners; two Star TSP143IIIBI receipt printers; two back-office computers; a cash counter; a Dymo LabelWriter 450; a Zebra GK420d; a multifunction scanner and printer; a product display-card printer; and two Sonos speakers. Final supported models, compatibility, installation needs, upgrades, and substitutions are confirmed for your store.

Will Blackleaf Dispensary POS work offline?

Offline operation is on the roadmap. Offline settlement is not currently represented as production-ready. Your deployment review should specify what can continue without internet, which actions are restricted, and how payments, inventory, permissions, and reporting reconcile after reconnecting.

Which payment methods are supported?

Payment methods and providers are confirmed during store onboarding. The development preview is not a promise of live card processing, cashless ATM, ACH, or offline payment support. Ask for the permitted tender types, provider terms, fees, and refund behavior in your deployment scope.
